What exactly is included in each package?

The comparison table above is the definitive list. Your written scope of work — sent before you sign anything — will specify exactly what is included for your engagement. If something isn't in the table, it isn't included unless specifically added to your custom scope.

What if I only need one specific thing — not a full package?

Custom engagements are available. If you only need a website build, a single contract drafted, or a focused strategy session — I can put together a custom fixed-fee proposal. Contact me with what you need and I'll respond with a scope and price.

Can I upgrade from Foundation to Signal later?

Yes, but not as a credit-based upgrade. If you've completed the Foundation package and later want website design or legal documents, we'll scope that work as a new engagement. The work is priced based on what it actually takes — not as a discount off the larger package. This keeps each engagement clean and avoids ambiguity about what's already been done.

Do you charge extra if the project takes longer than expected?

No. Fixed-fee means fixed-fee. If the project takes me longer than I expected, that's my problem — not yours. If the scope changes (you ask for additional work beyond what was originally agreed), we'll discuss a change order before I proceed. I won't bill you more for doing the job I agreed to do.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is processed through Stripe — credit card, debit card, and ACH bank transfer. You'll receive a Stripe payment link along with your scope of work. No checks, no Venmo, no crypto. Stripe provides receipts and a clear payment record for your files.

Is the discovery call really free and without obligation?

Yes. 30 minutes, no pitch, no invoice. I'll ask questions about your business and you can ask me anything about how I work. If there's a fit and you want to move forward, I'll follow up with a scope of work. If there isn't, I'll tell you that and you won't owe me anything. I don't do pressure sales.

What if I have a very long or complex contract to review?

Standard contract review — including what's included in packages and the Business Risk Assessment — covers documents up to approximately 15 pages. Contracts that are unusually long, multi-part (e.g., a master services agreement with addenda and exhibits), or require deep technical analysis are quoted separately based on length and complexity. I'll tell you the price before I start. If you're not sure whether your contract qualifies as standard or complex, just describe it in your contact form and I'll let you know upfront.

What is the refund policy?

All fees are earned upon performance of services and are non-refundable once work has begun. The 50/50 structure on larger packages protects both parties — you're not paying for work that hasn't started yet, and I'm not completing a full engagement without compensation. Refund terms for any specific engagement will be stated in your written consulting agreement.
